The lodge

 

The Lodge is located 25 Km approx. in straight line (down NAPO river) from Puerto Francisco de Orellana (El Coca). Our motor boat canoes take around 01 hour of fluvial navigation by the Napo river to reach the Yarina Eco-lodge.

Yarina Eco Lodge, is a privately owned rainforest reserve (550 has), locate near of the Yasuni National Park, in the cultural reserved zone, set aside for indigenous Quichuas, amazonian peoples; in a primary upper rainforest.

Accommodation and meals: With a capacity of 50 passengers, the Yarina lodge offers you 20 huts with private bathrooms. The huts are made with typical local materials such as: bamboo on the walls, the palm of the pambil on the floor and toquilla straw on the roof. All these materials are provided by indigenous people who plant, harvest and sell these materials to earn their living. For eight hours daily (8am – 12pm) (6pm – 10pm) electricity is provided for the lodge. The dining room and social area is located in the main cabin which is a great place to rest, make friends or simply to enjoy the view.
